What it's like to work with a freelance copywriter
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work with a freelance copywriter?
Perhaps you don’t know what to expect or what would be required of you. Well, you needn’t worry, I’m friendly, approachable and professional, so working with me on awesome content for your website, blog, newsletter, social media or PR is a doddle! To give you a little more insight, here’s a quick rundown of a typical client journey: 1. I book you in for a free 15-minute discovery call to find out about your business and the project you’d like me to work on. 2. A quote is provided outlining the project and how much I’ll charge. 3. If you’re happy, you agree to my terms and conditions and make a part or full payment (depending on the project fee). 4. We agree a date for work to start. 5. You fill in a client questionnaire and/or we have a phone or Zoom call to discuss the project in more detail. 6. I submit a first draft of the copy. 7. You provide feedback. I work in a relaxed, collaborative way with plenty of opportunity for input, so you can make changes without worrying about offending me! 8. I make any required changes (two rounds of revisions are included) and send the amended copy back to you for additional feedback. 9. I action any further amends before the final copy is submitted and signed off. 10. The remainder of the fee is invoiced and paid.
